Ready to try something creative? Join Melissa from Honeybee Inspirations for Stitched by Hand: A Bookbinding Journey!

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn the art of bookbinding and create your own hand-bound journal from start to finish. Choose writing or art paper to suit your creative style, and enjoy a few hours of making something beautiful by hand.

No previous experience is needed, and all materials are provided. You’ll leave with a unique handmade journal of your own!

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Born and raised in Terrace, BC, I moved to Prince George with my family in 2001. Despite my relocation over the years to places such as Scotland, England, Wales and Germany, Prince George has remained my “home”.

I was first introduced to yoga, meditation, and principles of Buddhism during my travels throughout Europe and Thailand. I’d practiced yoga as a student for many years and considered taking teacher training for a long while, so I was excited for the opportunity to attend a 200hr YTT (Yoga Teacher Training) through SOYA. I graduated in June 2019 and began subbing classes immediately after. By July, I was teaching my own weekly classes. In August 2019 I completed a Myofascial Release and Movement course through the Vancouver School of the Healing Arts. In September 2019, I added a 30hr Aerial Yoga Intensive training plus a 10hr Restorative Aerial Yoga training through The Yoga Shack to my repertoire .

Working at an alternative health wellness clinic and yoga studio exposed me to a wide array of healing techniques that piqued my interest. Reflexology stood out to me as a particularly interesting modality. And so, in March 2020 I began my journey to becoming a Reflexologist.

THE VENUE:
Barkerville Brewing Co. is fully licensed and serves locally sourced artisanal pizza and other snacks, along with a rotating selection of our beers. We also serve wine and cider, and non-alcoholic options. The brewery is family-friendly; all minors must be accompanied by an adult. 

Physical tickets will not be sent to ticket buyers. Instead, our staff will assist with check-in at the Taproom counter on the night of the event. Please use your order number or name when arriving at the event.
